Band camp for the 2024 season will be held in-person from August 17-24, 2024.

All on-campus residents will move into their dorms on the first day of band camp at no additional charge to you for the room. This dorm is the same dorm students will live in for the remainder of the semester.

Both the university and marching band staff are aware of these conflicts.  Like the sports teams on campus, you should attend marching band unless otherwise noted. Pay attention to your emails from Dr. Cernuto about required online events before camp.

Your instrument/equipment, LOTS of water, sunscreen, sneakers, and drill (sent out in advance). Musicians need your music and a pencil. Hats and sunglasses recommended.

Food is the only expense not provided by the university or the band during the week of band camp. We will send you information about band camp meal costs in the summertime - but generally, we ask for a total of $125 to be paid to take care of your meals from Monday through Saturday morning (your meal plans take effect Saturday afternoon). All meals will be in our Upper Deck Dining Facility, with on-campus students receiving three meals and all other students two.
